    Casualty ER whot next

im only 5ft but i soon had to take on the ruskies. the germans were terrified of the maffia ha nice to see now and then.if the noise just gets the better of you at the pool witch it will. for pittys sake dont leave your sun launger for any longer than 10 min , or leave grandad on duty,it will bring him so many memories even hell have somthing to talk about, even the UN could not organise or get it back.anyway back to why ER well the family and i thought they were filming. i have never seen so many people with broken bones, bandages ,drips, yes i said drips . my OH even thought abaut becoming a doctors aid as he was raking it in and he was VERY expensiv. food not bad had to kick a few shins but the meek will get no where. staff will help if there is blood involved.animation team do there best but take over the main pool alot. rooms are ok as long as you dont get block 3. in all not a bad hol. as you can tell we like abit of action and a laugh as the germans have lost control and there crown to the ruskies who are unbelievable.who ever let them OUT.

Hotel was terrible rep agreed that it was like Butlins.

We arrived early in the morning and we waited over an hour for our luggage which meant that we could not go to sleep.

The carpet was dirty as were the curtains.

The food was awful and the dining room was mayhem. Noisy and disorganised.

The pool was dominated by the entertainment team booming music.

The quiet area was full whilst people tried to get away from the noise. The children were also there with parents so this was not much fun for thm or us.

We asked to move and it was agreed that we could do this. Nobody was told that the swimming pools could not be used because they were freezing.

We were then told that if the rep could find a cheaper hotel that we would be refunded. If it was dearer we would have to pay. We agreed. She found a cheaper hotel and after we packed we were asked to pay Ģ180.00 and get our own taxi.We were told to request this back on our return.

We complained in resort and the guideline of 28 days was not adhered to. We complained on 24th October by e.mail and received a reply on Christmas Eve 2 months later.

We have now decided never to travel to Turkey again and definetely not with Thomas Cook.

I definetely would not reccommend The Atlantis. The hotel Turkish rep offered an upgraded room with anything that we wanted if we stayed and we even refused this as the hotel was so awful and we would still have to brave the dining room

    Do not go there

    Atlantis in November

My husband & I have recently returned from a weeks break at the Atlantis.

The hotel is very large, very clean and very nice. The staff are all friendly and eager to help.

We were told we had to move rooms after the first night which we were non too happy about as we were only staying a week and had already unpacked. However the staff were very understanding and offered us a room with a spectacular view and to be honest, we were glad we were asked to move.

This was our first experience of an all inclusive holiday and the food was great if, like us, you like it ready and waiting and don't want to hang around for a bill etc.

The choice was good enough and there was something for most tastes.

November at the Atlantis is pretty quiet. Only 2 bars and 3 restaraunts were open. The outdoor pools rely on the sun for warmth, so they were unusable. We had some pleasant weather when we could sit outside and relax. Some days you needed a cardigan and in the evenings you needed a coat outside.

The hotel was fairly quiet but did host some local conferences / exhibitions. This did not impede on our holiday at all. I guess at this time of year you compromise on a few things but at least you avoid noisy kids and queues.

Don't expect too much from the entertainment, they are very enthusiastic but their spoken English is a little broken and they try and cater for all nationalities.

The hotel is placed approx a 40 minute walk from Belek centre so it's good if you plan to spend most of your evenings in the hotel i guess.

Oh yes, expect a strong smell of smoking in the hotel at most times.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our week, it was quiet and relaxing and the weather was pleasant without beeing unbareable.

I would go back to Atlantis again - maybe a little earlier for slighlty better weather, but a most relaxing time.

Great time would go back !

Just got back from Atlantis Resort Belek, we had children of 11 and 13 years, the animation team were great and the children were kept busy for most of the time. The food was what we expected and although repeated there was plenty to choose from (though it could have been warmer), we went to the Italian al-a-cart where the meal was fabulous. Staff very friendly especially Ismet and nothing was too much trouble. The room was fine cleaned every day, fridge refilled every day with water, soda and pepsi, the safe costs 1.50 euros per day. Take euros everything priced in euros although they do take lira, the outdoor pools were too cold to swim in but the indoor pool was great. There were lots of different nationalities and we all mixed very well.

Did not buy gold as the prices were too much (you can buy cheaper at home)

    Absolutely loved it

This holiday was absolutely fantastic, the hotel was fabulous and the staff even more so, the food wasn't great but thats not the be all and end all of a holiday in my opinion. I was unfortunate enough to fracture my foot while there, and the staff couldn't have been more helpfull especially the Manager. The animation team were fantastic and the evening shows were very pofessional, a special thanks to Ike and Umit for making my holiday memerable. The mini club was great for the kids and you knew they were safe with the team, I would definately return to Atlantis next year.

    Atlantis Rawwwwwks!

I stayed at Atlantis just 2 weeks ago and it was the best holiday I have ever had, I miss the place so much and will most likely be returning there again. Couldn't fault it. Went with my toddler, my brother sister, mum and her OH.

Atlantis is good, but food is awful ??

hi we went to the atlantis in october 2005, the hotel is beautiful, and the pools are really nice to, quite a few to choose from, we did,nt think alot of the beach,a to be honest, there was my husband myself and our three children, ages 3, 8,and 11, we did find they got a little bored sometimes especially the few days of rain we had, there is nothing for the children or adults to do when the weather is bad, the kids club looked great but we found it was it was more for the russians and germans, than the english, be aware this hotel is also a conference hotel as well as a holiday hotel and we found the buisness people took over, the hotel is imaculatly clean, the staff were ok, some better than others, our biggest moan is the food is it absolutly discusting, we actually lost weight coming here as we were eating bread and soup most nights, also lots of others were complaing regarding the food here, the alcarte was ok and only ok, overall the hotel is nice but we will never come here again, as we felt such a minority, and unwelcome as the hotel had lots of germans and russians, also we would not rate this hotel 5 star more like a 3 star. s.pope.

    Good for kids

my wife, two friends and myself spent two weeks at the atlantis, the facilities are really good but the food was nowhere near 5* standard and often cold, using the a al carte the food was a little better. if you have children this an ideal hotel however there is nowhere to sit and have quiet time. the animation team are excellent in the daytime activities but the nighttime entertainment does not come up to standard. the waiters and staff are excellent and can,t do enough for you,the rooms are spacious and adequate.due to the poor standard of the food this hotel cannot be rated 5* we have eaten better in 3*

    Best Holiday Ever

I went to this resort in May 05 with my partner and 2 kids, Daughter aged 14 and Son aged 3. It was absolutely super the hotel is excellent and now i am unable to go anywhere else as i find myself comparing everywhere to Here. We spoiled ourself coming here. The hotel is fantastic, always spotless, the food is alright, i didnt think it was too great but my partner assures me it was ok. The weather is great, and the Animation Team are Fantastic, they make you feel really welcome and are so friendly. My partner gave Umed ( JIMMY ) his Home Rangers Top before he left ( as he kept taking it and wearing it when we were sunbathing). and gave Namo his Away Rangers Top and they were well chuffed. They even came out to say goodbye and waved us off when we were leaving, which i thought was great. The dedication of the Animation Team is outstanding. My Daughter thought this was the best holiday ever, ( i believe Nico might have had something to do with that). Unfortunately we were unable to book the Atlantis for next year, But we managed to get booked up at the Arcadia Hotel in Belek, which i am lead to believe is just as good. One thing i will say about the hotel is. We lost our little boy one night (he decided to go for a little hurl in the lift), and the staff were fantastic, within seconds of reporting it, the full place was crawling with staff and security. They were everywhere searching even the beach. Thankfully we got our son back safe and well. but the responce of the hotel was amazing. I would recommend anyone to go here, and if you do please tell the Animation Team that Fran Grant and Kim and Robbie said Hi.

Hello!!!!!!!! or should I say "merhaba"

I just came home from there and I wish I were there, because it was fantastic to be there.

I donīt remember his name who was the referee of waterpolo, but I think he remembers us, because I am a member of Team Finland, the goalkeeper.

Gongratulations for Nemo and Alexandra(or was it Alexandra... I donīt remember, but gongratulations anyway) and thank you all for this wonderful experience.

    Bye bye

... them to eat the dead skin. It does sound really yukky but it felt fine – little tickles and certainly our feet felt smoother afterwards. A further little walk, then lunch and then another walk. We are finding the vendors initially assertive but once it is clear that we don't wish to make a purchase they are actually really friendly – especially to Craig. It is a very MALE population but also secular with strong women.

... a quiet afternoon. Saturday we went to Üçağız, where there is a partly submerged city. There wasn't so much to see due to the submerged part, but it was a nice walk around checking out tombs and enjoying the sunshine. We ate gozleme, Turkish pancakes, for dinner which were super yum, and Brad learned how to play backgammon with a couple of local boys. It turned out to be a quieter game than we imagined, making us laugh again thinking of ...

These are fantastic folks! Awesome sight - I will let the photos tell the story. Warm mineral, calcium rich waters cascade down the hillside in a series of pools. The travertine have attracted people to the area for 1000's of years. The ancient town of Hierapolis is based here at the top of the hill. There is a lot to explore and only 1 hour to do it. I paddled in happily, in a small series of pools ...

... the steps and steep walkways of the old town to hop on a gulet for 2 hours of cruising along the coast. Very pleasant it was too with the sea breeze and the chug chug of the engine.

A quick tea for me when we got back, a blissful shower and then dosed myself with vitamin C, and garlic to ward off a pending cold that is doing the rounds of the coach. Tomorrow is another day......
