... the beach had disappeared under water but was again accessible from noon on. <br><br>This island is very accessible from Kuala Besut but is accessed only by speed boat (There are no slow boats) Also taxi from Kota Bharu to Kuala Besut seems to be the way to go. The owner at Zeck's Traveller's Inn is always ready to help you out. Seems honest enough but he gets his share of commissions!!!!

... take us from Kuala Besut to Kuala Lumpur, where Hanan and I would grab another bus from KL to Singapore. While the overnight bus to KL was somewhat painless, it still wasn&#8217;t comfortable and we didn&#8217;t exactly get a great night&#8217;s sleep. We kept our distance and let them get on with swimming past us.... but it was very cool to see them......saw tons of very cool fish at this spot as well.
