    ... buying cheese and sausages. Then had lunch with a little white wine.

    From lunch we walked along the river to a little village, Wadkoping, which has actually been relocated to preserve the buildings. Buildings are from the 1700’s, and open for looking at your own pace. Doors are small and walls uninsulated. Some interior walls still have the decorations from so long ago. Some houses are furnished others buildings empty.

    ... who were to babysit our "home" for 2 weeks. David drove us to the station where we got train to Arlanda and flew via Heathrow to Newcastle. Hire car to the cottage in Northumbria for 2 weeks with my sister Theresa and brother in law David (who arrived Monday after scaling several more Monroes (mountains) in Scotland the previous week.
