... of these fish recipes from her before I forget). Yesterday we drove around Siljansjö, which is a large lake and then checked out the town of Mora and went to a Dalicarlian wooden horse factory. Most of the rest of the time we've been hiking around the area and enjoying scrumptious pastries. So soon my journey will be coming to a close as I return to NY. Leksand, Swedish Lakeland, Sweden danwstephens... me down of the hippy trip I discovered another rust hole in the floor plan just on the foot step up into the drivers side cabin.
Lizzie made an intereswting observation, we seem to be the only campers with a "hippy van"....in other words, we don't see any other real campers (either type T1/2, T25 or T4's). They all seem to be the retiree type vans or caravan and car set-ups.

After a very cold night in the van with temperatures dropping to 10 degrees it did mean that the clear skies of the day before had brought with it a gorgeous sunrise with just a couple of clouds. Funny, I used to always struggle to get out of bed to check out sunrises, and now with Jasper its quite a regular occurence!

Funnily though the colour used is the same "Swedish Ochre" colour that is used to paint all rural buildings (houses, barns, etc). There was even a 40ft shipping container in Fiskebacksil that was disguised with wood panelling and corrigated iron roof that was painted in this Swedish Ochre to make it blend in.

We leave Stokholm to go to Örebro, a quiet city in the middle of Sweden with a nice medieval castle and an enormous and very green camping vhere we stay for 2 nights....Örebro is also the home town of Millencolin, and it's a good reason to come here...!!!
