... the shuttle arrived, it took about 20 minutes to get to the hotel; it was much farther from the airport than I expected. Narita seems pretty quiet at night and it was an uneventful drive. I'll have to see how different it is tomorrow morning. At the hotel I was also asked to speak in Japanese and was able to get everything I needed in a few minutes.
