After I arrived at Narita International Airport at 23:00, I stayed overnight in a couch of the airport. On the next day, I headed for Naritasan Shinshoji Temple. The temple is famous and popular among Japanese and I was eager to go some day. When I arrived at the temple, there were only few visitors in the temple. I felt a bit uncomfortable at first, but I enjoyed strolling in their quiet garden behind the temple ...
We ended up leaving Denver almost 2.5 hours late. Impressively, we were only an hour late arriving in Tokyo. We then went to a small eatery and got authentic (so we think) ramen and Sapporo beer. Next stop ...

The thousands of people streaming back toward the very small Shibamata Station made the going quite slow, so we followed the advice of the police ...
