Visited Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus on the Turkish side, only 4.50 tl on the dolmus. Peaceful city with a bunch of churches, mosques & Turkish markets. Didn't walk over the famous border into Greek Cyprus 'cause I forgot my passport. 7 tl got me to gazimagusa, a port town with a walled city right next to the Harbour. North Cyprus adventure - day 2
... this time, picking up the same dual carriageway and heading in the opposite direction, drive for quite a time, before turning off on to the mountain pass. The road was steep but i was rewarded with some beautiful mountain views.
Found my way into Kyrenia, but found the lack of signs made it impossible to find anything, after driving around for a while i called it a day and headed back, pleased with myself for finding my way and lasting longer than the day before.
