A short walk into town to get supplies and check out the gear shops...disappointed on bike hire prices so decided to stick to a bike with a motor, it's tricky mixing the two... Nanno nap and after a refreshing shower felt like a ride - so up the mountain we went. It was quite late and the sun was setting - providing amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains... On day 8 our legs are tired so it felt bloomin hard work, but it was worth it as it is a stunning route. We have done it before from the ...

... were running low. Then about 4km from the top the temperature plummeted and the rain continued in ernest. We were shivering so much our bikes were shaking! Thankfully once over the top there was a little cafe where we hid for a while drinking hot chocolate and eating ham and cheese omelettes. We made it safely back to the valley where it was glorious sunshine and we laid everything out to dry. Phew. An exhausting ...
