... proved to be extremely sobering not only because of the locations we visited but also because very sadly we learned of Carmen's grandma, Mavis' passing. A true battler, she had a great innings of 96 and will be sorely missed. We hope that wherever she is, she is reading this blog and enjoying a holiday of her own.
