Tires and Towers: Kranj and Ljubljana
Once the weekend was over it was time for business. We started the jam packed two day event with visiting Goodyear production factory in Kranj. The shoes we had to wear were way too big for me and I was sick this day so it was miserable for me to go through the factory. My feet were so red and hurt so bad from the shoes rubbing and i kept tripping on top of having a fever all day. When we sat through the VP's presentation it wasn't as bad ...
Island in the middle of a Lake: Bled
... home cooking to me! Meat, potatoes and veggies! I loved it. It was really similar to German food and really rich and hearty. After eating we were all falling asleep and really eager to get back to the hotel and get some rest. Mountain Hike
We enjoyed Kranjska Gora so much yesterday and decided there was much more to explore there so packed up our stuff after an early brekkie and headed back there to make it our new base. After enquiring in a cafe with great hot chocolate we found a lovely place to stay! A cute little room with a balcony overlooking the ski slopes and mountains. Perfect!!
Once we'd dumped our gear, we headed out for another day ...
Kranjska Gora Hike
Woke up this morning exciting to go rafting and headed to Bohinj but unfortunately, due to the large amount of rain the last couple of days, the water levels were too high and dangerous. But it was such a beautiful and sunny day so we decided to do a big hike instead and set off in the car to a different area of the Triglav National Park.
On reaching our destination of Kranjska Gora we were delighted! A stunning drive to get there ...
