Katie and Emma have gone to watch some of the music concert and have a last look at the lake. I can't wait to have a shower and then I have to pack up all my stuff which is really tidy as you can imagine. Got to be ready for tomorrow morning's train to Venice which we are excited for. We are staying at our nice quiet campsite for a second night. Wasps aside, and Europe does seem full of them, many drowning in my wine, it's a beautiful peaceful place. Halfway down the river, after getting tipped out the boat by a clever trick our guide played on us, we got out and were showed a place we could body surf the Rapids. Katie confidently strutted into the river ready to conquer the Rapids however her plan changed when the water proved its strength and ...

Yesterday Wednesday 18th we left Vienna by train to go to Klagenfurt, a four hour trip. We travelled through beautiful countryside with colourful Austria houses in pretty pastel colours ( as well as some bright orange!). Wide meadows, forests and hills and mountains with a smattering of snow. Lots of small settlements and what appeared to be garden allotments with pretty little chalet type buildings. Due to the speed of the train it ...
