... turned out very well! Nothing too weird appeared and everything got eaten up. We visited an old, large family home and tried the bows and arrows. Then we bought some souvenirs and walked on to the Sex Museum. This was shut though which we were a bit disappointed by! The buggies on the way to the town had been useful as we now knew the route back to the station which only took 10 minutes to walk. We timed it ...

... one long table. Veggie options were a little limited but after all the walking a pizza sounded acceptable to me. Unfortunately it was very oily and thick based but the beer and company were good so no complaints really, and most of the other meals looked very delicious. We headed back to the hostel, getting soaked again and then bought them out of beer and sat up playing drinking games until late. A short bus ride followed by a quick walk brought us to the entrance of the famous Suzhou gardens. Vicky explained that in Chinese gardens there is a natural flow between architectural structures and plants.
