... how Hannah from my orientation group lives about 30 mins walk away from the office. She sent Hannah a message asking if she wanted to join us for lunch, and Hannah did! So I got to see her too which was really nice, and we all marveled at how our nails were the same colour as our watches :)

Thursday was a great day, and I also noticed that the sun decided to make an appearance too!

Serena speaks really good English for a 10 year old. She's cheeky, but well behaved and obedient. She loves her toys, especially the pandas, and Disney princesses. ... couldn't imagine never seeing my host family again! Saying bye was the hardest thing about this trip, the amount of times we said bye and gave each other hugs were un-countable! There were tears, hugs and sadness, all different emotions from the first day we met them! Hopefully we will make their time in Australia just as incredible as they made it for us! Two hearts

... the fish. Outside the garden is a market that we had a quick wonder through. Then off to lunch where we tried some lotus root, it was delicious. After lunch we went on a canal boat ride down PingJiang Road. The boat captain even gave me a turn at captaining the boat. Now I have a back up career if my current one fails.
