    ... first we ask the two train conductor guys which platform and they say you need to catch the such and such line. They told us to look on the board and when the train was assigned a platform number we would know. well! That was completely incorrect so we asked a train lady and she didn't know either.     ... the first time since 2009 due to various health issues.

    This time we didn't obey some of my golden rules as well as we should .....I have a strong preference for apartments and not hotels, hate stays of less than 3 days, love being able to walk for a coffee / pastry and struggle without good internet. We missed on a few of these this time - won't happen again

    I should also make special mention of Jasmine and Dario - Allen ...

    Day 24 Today we pick up our bikes, have our pre tour briefing and the introductory dinner. I wandered down to breakfast at 9am and found Bill and Joan in the dinning room.     ... The palace is many centuries old and is still used by the noble Italian Borromeo family as their summer holiday house. Some getaway!
