Quotes for the week: "I'm getting wrinkles from smiling so much while hitchhiking." "I used to think you were so ...

The airport in Milano is a fair distance out of the city centre, so it seemed like it took forever. Finally we arrived at the hotel at around 4pm, somewhat 2hrs after we landed. The locals are charming and the whole town has a laid back feel that is complimented by the stunning vistas.
We boarded a boat for a trip across the lake to Isola Bella, one of the Borromean islands. While we were waiting at the dock to get underway a bright ...

... small town's atmosphere was charming and quite picturesque especially Maggiore Lake located right next to the sidewalk. The day’s temperature continued to be mild and warm even though it was by now close to 5:00pm. I couldn’t have asked for anything better.

Back at the hotel, I definitely took the time to do a more thorough tour of the grounds by going ...
