... the on coming train (excuse the pun).....entree train was Villafranche to Ventimiglia - no hassle there, apart from the twenty minutes to buy the tickets via the automative system...conveniently only user friendly for those who can read French. From Ventimiglia we go to Genoa. When we arrive at Genoa, Paul remains downstairs (to save his back) with the cases while I go get the tickets to the next port of call. I take soooo long due to the queues that he lugged ...

This morning I walked the burbs again. I looked at where they live and how. It's no wonder they spend a lot of time outside and walking and sitting in the piazzas. For some unknown reason a few people started talking to me today in Italian. I have got so used not knowing or understanding anyone that it actually took me a while to realise that this lovely man was telling me this very funny story and by the time I realised it, he was having such a ...

I also noticed a number of nice looking men. Honestly, there are so many good looking males here it is criminal. Good ...

... need him!!!!!) But, what I realized is that they actually mean it. The sales finish tomorrow and then that's it. No more summer clothes to buy.

It is fascinating how a sale and shopping can actually boost your energy. I was exhausted when I left home and I had an automatic pick-me-up, just by looking. Oh well…. I sort of bought just something really little.

Today after a sleep in, (I'm getting lazier and lazier), Saacha and I caught the bus to Camogli. We travelled up behind Santa Margherita, up the winding roads through San Lorenzo and Rocco. Amazing views once again. Comogli is a little fishing village and very quaint and pretty.

We swam at SM on our return, before heading out to Da Prezzi Cucina to purchase some fresh anchovies for dinner and then to Panificio for some apple cake for sweets. YUM.. ...
