    ... Ukraine borders. Very dangerous all this. 2nd Just had breakfast at Rauysuk Bon café in front of where our friendly dog Bam Bam lives. I cleaned the space in front of her little house with water cause it smelt and took her chain out of a knot. She is so cute, we would like to take her with us. Than we went back and stayed at the pool. In the evening we went to eat duck on the market which was excellent. 3rd Our last day before leaving for 3 weeks ...

    ... walk in to a solid wall of intense " poo" smell which can make you "gag" then a few paces on in to a cloud of incense smoke that makes your eyes water this is normally followed by strong whiffs of various perfumes mixed with the smells of all manner of things being cooked and so the pattern goes along the road.     ... able to see the last show of the day where there is an alligator trainer that does tricks with them in a closed off area. The tricks included the trainer putting his hand inside the mouth of an alligator with its mouth snapping shut milliseconds after he removed it as well as doing a ‘slip and slide’ down the walkway ending with his head inside an alligators mouth. It was terrifying to watch, I can’t imagine how that guy feels ...

    ... scooter (the two of us and our driver - I repeat, three on a scooter - and he dropped us at the beach, which was just rows and rows of loungers. We had to pay for them or we can't get onto the beach. Very sneaky. Had a nice, quick warm swim and an hour later, we jumped onto the last ferry back to Pattaya.

    ... out and the majority of them looking fairly miserable (surprise surprise). You could buy ping pong balls for twenty Baht, around forty pence, and throw them on stage. The girls would all start to frantically chase these balls, pushing and shoving, in an attempt to secure the twenty Baht for themselves! Sad state of affairs really but I guess they're just trying to make a living. As you can imagine, Lucy and I got some strange looks as she was the only lady ...
