    ... nice, we enjoy talking to them a lot and they're real friendly and interesting people ! 23rd After breakfast we went down to the pool and stayed until lunch which we had at Victoria's.     ... several hundred people. Everything was cooked to order. Wow. Because of the weekend resort traffic it took us till five-thirty to get back downtown. On the way we went down one of the red light streets. A long,long street with bar after bar. The girls sitting outside each bar were wearing different costume. Many looked like dolls, and underage. A jaw dropping sight. And still daylight. Loads of tourist wandering along and many, many middle aged westerners. ...

    ... and bushes. Beautiful flowers and statues in perfect apt scenery. Areas were themed with many different animal statues which helped to break up each section and give them their own identity and individuality. There were tree sections, flower sections, cactus sections all very pleasing to the eye. You really need to see the pictures to do it any justice as you can really only describe plant life so much.     (someone asked about where I am staying, I’m staying in the Sawasdee Sunshine, it’s not bad, but it’s definitely not the Ritz, I have a hot shower, a TV, A/C, all the coffee I can drink, my bed is made up each day, I have the use of all the Sawasdee hotels in Pattaya (that’s why I moved here) those that have pools, roof top gardens I can use em all, no extra charge (and it’s nice to try all their free coffee shops)

    ... been there. It was weird how normal everyone seemed to think it was.

    There is obviously little I can do to change the situation - it's an unfortunate reality of Thailand - but I hope that the girls are at least canny enough to bleed those expats who are there for more than just a drink and a chat, dry.
