... down to my bathing suit while I ran and I jumped in. It was incredibly refreshing! It was nice and deep so you could actually swim. Whoever invented this deserves a big gold star. No one else came in so I got out quickly so we could continue on to the beach. Before stopping at the beach we took a cute little water taxi across then visited the famous fountain on the lake. I'm happy to report that after us looking in the evening we found the missing parts. I was quite happy about that discovery. Sadly no matter how much we looked the guard rail wasn't going to be magically fixed but better than nothing. One good thing is we had time to figure out the guard rail because we weren't going to use it right away. Plus it doesn't make the bed completely useless like we thought. So I guess a happy dance is in order because we got our stuff!
Today is our first day of exploring Rome. The plan for today is to see Colosseum, Pantheon and Trevi fountain. We found an apartment to stay while we were in Rome. We decided to try this route out because it allowed us to have separate rooms plus kitchen. If you have kids you understand the kitchen is handy to have and separate sleeping area for Riley means we don't have to sit in the dark in silence after he goes to bed.
