    ... speaking staff. There were plenty of other campers present but it wasn't crowded … just enough to reassure us that this wasn’t a dive that other people knew to avoid. I was so amazed at the water, photos just couldn’t do it justice, no comparison to actually being there. From the National Park entrance you need to catch a little ferry across the lake to get to the falls and board water, the ferry is only about 200m.     An even earlier start today saw me climbing up the hill at the end of the lake to the viewpoint which is marked on maps but not really talked about in any guide books.

    All went well until we actually got into Porec, the driver didn't know the address, claimed he couldn't drive into the city centre, so put us out on the curb. Oh dear.
