    ... buffet breakfast. It had the normal European breakfast items of fruits, cheese, meats and hearty breads, but also the more traditional eggs, bacon, and omelet station.     Today's dress code to tackle the elements – shorts and Hot Potato trekking boots bought in Chengdu last month.     ... free parking in the hotel carpark right next to the entrance to the park, which turned out to be about another kilometer down the road. Phew, thank goodness. Even then it was still quite a walk, 500m down to the NP entrance. We bought tickets to the park, which included going on what they called a train, but is more like a bus with carriages, and the ferry across the largest lake.

There wasn't a bus for another hour an half so we decided to walk the 4km back to our apartment, via the shop for some ice cold rewarding beverages to enjoy in the late afternoon sun.
