      ... downhill! By this time the rain had well and truly cleared up and the day was getting warm! Perfect for camping we both said, and so headed back to the large campground in town for a night of relaxation in the sun.

      Another quick setup, and this time a chance to clean up everything that was mucked up this morning! We then got dinner going, and I made the mistake of carrying the rice noodles without too much care, and the handle of the pot came away from the pot..... ...

      ... We walked around most of the lake all the way to the highst lake, Lake Proscanko. That was the end of the trail. We took the bus back to the ferry. We didn't feel like going to the campground yet, so we took the ferry across lake Kozjak to the start of the trail to the lower lakes. I was almost sorry we did. It was so busy and the boat so full... Not much fun, so we took the next ferry back.

      ... feed in the restaurant of soup, salad and steak/schnitzel. Fully fed, refreshed and hydrated we retired to our little cabin, rugged up again, crawled under the sheets and fell asleep fully satisfied that we had seen one of the true natural wonders of the world.

      Anyone visiting this part of the world should do themselves a favour and spend at least a full day here. This was for both Rox and I a huge highlight of all the travel we’ve done!!

      We started on a long long trip to plitvice so we stopped off at Pazin Chasm and went on a walk through the chasm. We had walked from one side to the other and when we reached the top mum and dad had a coffee and then we went zip-lining! I was a bit nervous at first but my fear ran away quickly.
