We drove from Kalambaka to west coast and small city of Parga. First hour was traditional mountain road, but then it changed to highway, which speeds up the trip. It was 5 degrees (Celsius) in the morning in Kalambaka and 15 degrees at Parga, when we got there. Road wonders under the snowy mountain tops, so it is quite beautiful.

... to. I was also in a bit of a grumpy mood because on my day off I had planned to lie in, eat toblerone and watch pirate DVD’s on my laptop. It was not to be. At 8.30am the rest of the cleaning crew banged on the door. ‘Go away, I a sleepy.’ Bang bang bang! Head under pillow I mumbled a loud series of expletives that I felt could be understood to mean don’t come in. In they came.
