    ... From there we will be put hard to work on Ernst and Penny's farm until beginning February. The hopes are to pop over to New Zealand in between. The final part of the trip will consist of Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam and Laos. The exact order is still to be determined :)

    From Volendam we travelled across The Afsluitdijk which is a 27km man made road which divided the sea and created a giant lake whilst solving The Netherlands problems of continuos flooding.     We found a couple of new museums to explore – the DDR Museum and the Deutsches Historisches Museum. I can thoroughly recommend both museums, but especially the DDR Museum, because it is very hands-on. Nick was happy because he got to sit in a Trabbi!     ... other side of the river and at the same time we saw a small trip boat with a yellow cone on to denote they were a passenger ship and they had their blue board up too. We then saw a barge being loaded and on the edge of his bridge there were 4 small red lights which were flashing in some sort of sequence.
