... magical interlude in a special venue.

We had decided to head for K÷yceġiz situated on a fresh water lake between Marmaris and Dalaman. The distance was 46Km but the GPS estimated travelling time as about 1,5hours – the twisty roads and the built up areas mean slow progress and time to enjoy the views.

... while still in our euphoric state after Lewis' fantastic victory in front of his beloved home crowd, we head back down to the cauldron for one last time...!!! I guess we get in an hour or so before the sun drops down below the treetops, plunging us into dappled sunshine for a while before it's full shade only and time to call it a day. Knowing it's the last time we'll be going back to our room from the Relax Pool, it's with heavy hearts that we trudge up ...

... pleasant. The water was really clean and we had some lovely swims. From the campsite we explored the surrounds on bicycles and Brutus. The latter took us past Datša and included visits to a wine farm and an organic olive farm. The hot days have caused the tar to melt and so we prefer to head out early as it becomes quite ‘slushy’ for two wheelers.
