Day 12 – A full day in Paris

Croissant from the corner bakery was on my mind when we woke up this morning. That was my goal and past that I could not see until accomplished. So we got started around 9am and headed to the bakery. It was a small shop that you could tell baked all of its own goods. There was no place to sit so we picked up 3 croissants for the road and headed out to Marché Raspail.

... met by a driver who took us to the client's apartment in central Paris, an easy walk from the Arc De Triomphe. I was warned at the train station that Paris was very unsafe especially at the train station (due to beggars and thieves loitering there)...but by the end of my time in France I didn't feel that Paris was any less safe than London (not sure if that's naive, but I tend to think that anywhere and everywhere is dangerous these days so why live in fear; but of course ...
