In five days I will be "leavin' on a jet plane, don't know when I'll be back again!!" This is a time of trying to squeeze in everything that I wanted to do, but hadn't. They were able to explain to me why everyone has the cabbages out in the yards. In previous times when they didn't get fresh vegetables shipped in during the winter, they would put their Chinese cabbage in a brine and use it all winter. Now they do it because they like the taste. Fun evening!
