Despite Elise’s illness, we very much enjoyed staying in Qingtian for 9 days. That was the longest we stayed in one place for the whole trip. Add to that: our generous relatives who helped with celebrating the holiday, treated us to ...
... give a hefty fine if you have a second child. So rich people can still have more than one kid, but in general, most families only have one child.
In Qingtian, because so many people are overseas, we’ve seen a lot of families here with 2 children. My (second) cousins here have 2 children in some of their families, and when we ask them about it, they say they had the second baby ...

It included all 3 parts in this picture. My mom said when they were little, they visited and it was one huge (all connected) 2 story house. My ‘Tai-Gung’ (great grandfather) was a ...

Gaojiang, China laurenzoI stayed in Ningbo overnight as it was the nearest airport for us to fly home from. The hotel we stayed at was called the 'Howard Johnson' and it was amazingly luxurious. I will always remember this hotel as well as the one in Hangzhou as the most incredible hotels I have ever stayed at. The rooms were huge, the bathroom was as big as my bedroom at home and all the extra touches made this place somewhere I ...
Ningbo, Zhejiang, China sugarstar... i think some actually had bullet holes in them) and it looked like some didn't even have glass in the windows. However, it's also quite odd to see some of them with solar panels on the roofs! But some of the mountain scapes i saw were breathtaking. I do need to clarify something here thought. Shanghai-Yiwu was SO covered in fog/smog/haze today, that visibilty was down to a couple of hundred metres. But seeing the sun glow red through this WAS ...
