Naxos Island is the largest island in the Cyclades Group.
It is the most fertile and self-sufficient and is known for its cheese. We bought some today called Graviera and it has a lovely flavour.

We arrived in Naxos on our comfortable and speedy aquajet and were thankfully met by an agent who showed us to our transfer and organised the information for our stay (things were looking up!).
