After returning to our dorms at Beijing Normal High School, at around 10:30 pm, we all crashed hard. Tomorrow we have a long day ahead of us again. When quick comment, "Is daddy in jail?" My daughter asked this when seeing pictures of me inside or dorm rooms here. :)

Our Chinese Taichi Instructor did not show up, so I decided to teach the kids some basic taichi. It was a little nerve wracking since we drew a big audience, but the kids did fine.

The kids are in Chinese class all day today, about 5 hours. They will be preparing for a YCT (Youth Chinese ...

... takes around 5-10 minutes and is a way for the Chinese to chat with their friends. Traditionally they do not drink tea because they are thirsty, but because they want to show respect to their friends.

Jackson had the opportunity to make tea and go learned how to do all of the steps. It is a very complex way to make a beverage! The kids enjoyed the tea, a green tea, and everything that goes into ...
