... harder to come by. Not impossible, just a lot more difficult and usually quite a bit pricier when you do find them. So she felt sad about her first real vegan-ish meal. I did not have the heart to tell her that it was all for naught because the dough probably would not pass a vegan test. Oh well it was a fun day and evening.
I am not sure what the week will bring but I am sure it will be sparkling and new. Have a good week peeps and I shall endeavor to do the same.

... As we worked out our jetlag wouldn't be as bad if we got a couple hours sleep on the plane. Des tried watching movies to get him tired, but that didn't work out very well. When breakfast was served he still hadn't slept very much. Quality of service was very good on the plane. After 9,5 hours of sleep, food, movies, games and banter we arrived at Hong Kong Airport!!

We got through security and got our bags collected really fast, we are not used to ...

... on tomorrow. Either way, we'll find a way to see what we want to see. I wouldn't mind seeing the protests in person, but we'll be careful. Tomorrow we will take the Star Ferry across to Hong Kong Island, and do the Big Bus tours (and hop on and off where we want to). We will take the cable car up to the Peak, and whatever else we can fit in. On Wednesday we have a full day tour to Lantau Island (including a vegetarian lunch at the Buddhist monastery there).
