      ... first stop was a huge art Exhibition at the massive Shandong-Taiwan Convention and Exhibition Center. We saw the aforementioned exhibit put on by the school that we visited first the day before. The center was of epic proportion and filled with hundreds of booths where artists sold work ranging from paper cuttings and embroidery to kites and massive wood furniture.       Friday, we were greeted at the train station, early evening, by a committee. The six of us and luggage were driven in 3 different cars directly to a banquet hall where we were hosted and toasted for several hours. The table full of locals included Fan Yan, our paper cutter friend, the local C. Party Secretary, 2 school principals, teachers, administrators, financial experts and others.

      Today is our last day in Qufu. In a few hours, we will be heading back to Beijing and spending the night there. Tomorrow, we will reunite with the other group (who went to teach in Jiangxi) and then we will head to the next camp together. The next and the last summer camp is in Guyuan, Hebei. It will probably be very hot there and I'm not expecting any awesome living conditions at this point.
