    Trip out of Shanghai today to Suzhou about 80 km from Shanghai. 36 degrees so thankful for the coach air con. Travelled along the industrial corridor linking the two cities which was interesting in its own right. Lots of high rise apartment blocks for the workers and factories galore.     ... to convey our concern to the front desk brought us a great deal of enjoyment.

    We enjoyed our last dinner at the hotel in Kunshan (no dumplings though :( )

    Our Chinese friends took us to a rock music club to celebrate our last night.

    It was really empty when we got there at 7:30, but after about half an hour it was packed.

    The band went on at 9:30 and the singer joked about never performing for this many foreigners.
