Today we visited an area that I had only seen on Pinterest! It was amazing. Temples, walkways and shrines, as well as hotels all clinging to the sides of the mountains...we climbed up and down numerous stairs leading to very decorative temples. It certainly gave our hearts a workout...we did about 16,000 steps today... That was before it started to rain! Well we were actually back in town ...

Thankfully we had an uneventful train journey although I know we went through some mountainous regions by the breaking of the train. Thankfully this time i managed NOT to lose my jeans during the night like my last train journey where we had to play hunt the pants. For the rest of the day, I slept since I had nothing to do. I was irritated that it was Beijing Fashion Week during my Shanxi trip. It was my dream to finally check out a fashion week in person. However, I soon realized that I was given an amazing opportunity to see Shanxi and see other parts of China that most don't get to see.

Then, we went to the up stair of the school There was an exhibit to celebrate the village's success for finally building a road to connect to the outside world. We met the man behind planning for it. He was responsible for providing the engineering aspect needed for the project.
