Wow. It's crazy to think I've already been here for (now) 30 days... And boy was this week hectic! Earlier in the week, I was heavily swamped with emails trying to arrange for either teaching English as a second language to Spanish families or other job opportunities. I decided to get an internship with Hello! Creative Movement. The founder, Michele, is based in NY, but created a school where English speaking dance teachers instruct Spanish children in creative ...

I found an adorable little ornament on Nats shelf last night, it was so refreshing reading English... even though the translator didnt have a brain as it read "who are you Im a virus" ! i was literally laughing for twenty minutes whilst Nat tried explaining that a relative gave it to her and that it was really sentimental.

... The constant smoking in public places was also a downer, and the people in Iberia are a bit laid back and unorganized, so don’t be surprised if you arrange to meet an apartment owner at 3 o’clock, and at twenty five past three he or she rocks up with a coffee in one hand and a cigarette in the other. In many ways though, these are also good faults, they are unique and give you something to laugh about, but they also make the country ...
