    ... and we just headed for it with Wes navigating by instinct (again). Lots of roadworks (again) but the signs in the city were helpful too.

    And best of all,we could go up in the arch. It was very reasonable, only $10 each, to sit in a small capsule which was similar to a ferris wheel gondola (called a tram) which went up inside the arch to the top where we got out and stood inside the arch to look out either side. ...

    ... 8211; John and Daniela. They own a boat just like Satisfaction, so we had a lot in common to talk about and they wanted to see us again in Petoskey, our next stop. John and Daniela keep their boat at Bay Harbor Marina near Petoskey and they invited us to dinner when we arrived. What a beautiful marina/condo/house development on the shores of Lake Michigan!

    The wide and brown Mississippi River was the big event today ... though crossing it on the Beltway around St. Louis in 5 lanes of heavy traffic = a brief glimpse. Still it impressed me.
