Then when we go on the safari they also give us jumpsuits which go on top of all that so we really do look like the Michelin man, plus big boots and mittens and then a balaclava (or two) and a crash helmet with visor.

... By now the sun is long gone and the light is very blue. It is snowing a little, not heavy, just lightly and it is a lot warmer than the last few days. Only about -17 now. We dontīt even need our faces covered any more, amazing how much difference it makes from -30 to -17. The next few days are forecast to be warmer so we will probably shed a layer and not cover our faces.

After our snowmobile tour, we returned to the cottage to thaw out and have dinner. We kept an eye on the aurora forecast here http://www.aurora-service.eu/aurora-for ecast/ and noticed that it was saying level 4 was expected within the next hour.
