    ... on his crutches as he felt one of the screws inside his knee had worked it's way loose. He stayed in the car for the ferry trip. We arrived at Sami in Kefallonia and headed straight to the hospital. We were all a bit worried that the doc would have to open his leg back up! We were really thrilled to find Andy smiling and much happier after the doctor had seen him. The screw had worked it's way out so they took it out!! Apparently with minimal fuss through a small incision. ...

    ... quickly changed into our swimmers and hobbled into the water ( nots so easy once you left your thongs at the edge). It was just glorious and refreshing. We wished we videoed Erwin getting in and out of the water with the pebbles - it looked an extremely painful event. But it was so worth the swim in such beautiful clear water.     ... he sees Matt or me coming), and no one having it, we went off to dinner. At dinner tonight we finally tracked down the waiter who pulled my phone out of his pocket. A very strange situation since they are supposed to turn in anything they find, and he had my room key with my name on it as well. Anyways, good news is I have my phone back in MY possession.
