... too! It's call Tranquility Lodge and is only 1 mile from the orphanage. They give a discount to people helping at the orphanage which is how we got in touch with them. Beautiful looking place right in the jungle.

... we popped in. I had pizza which was fine and John had fish’n’chips. Neither of us was very hungry, which was just as well as John reckons this was probably the worst meal he has ever had. The fish had been frozen and the batter was crumbly, the lettuce was limp and the chips soggy. The waitress also mentioned that the tables hadn’t been cleared as she had been so busy. ... not open yet, but the architecture was awesome), The Forks Market (similar to Ottawa's Byward Market), St. Boniface (the French Quarter), the grave of Louis Riel and finished off our Winnipeg visit with lunch at Mondragon Bookstore & Vegan Coffeehouse (we all give it five stars, the food was amazing!!). ... It was 425 metres wide and 150 m deep.
The scenery changed quickly after this down to the prairies-canola and wheat farms and very windy. Lots of wind turbines try to take advantage of this but there are many people who don't want them in their back yards.

We had more great skies as the weather continues to be a bit unsettled. And even some great sunsets.

While shopping today I got adventurous and tried something new - dragon fruit and then had to come home and research how to prepare and eat it! Yum! Great taste!
