    Traveling once again!

A travel blog entry by pilgrimsjourney on May 25, 2015

... this trip, and my answer to that is "hope". I want to find a renewed hope in God and in myself. I feel like the trials of the last year have somehow stolen my hope, my belief in myself, and parts of my belief in Father God. I pray that this trip will be a renewing of that hope.
So, thank you to all of you out there who are following my blog and for those who are praying for me, as I know many of you are. I am excited for this journey and where the road will take me. ...

We stayed with friends in Lethbridge. It was nice to have a break from being on the go all the time. I haven't seen them in 20 years. It is so different over here. The sun doesn’t go down until 10:30 or so. We went to the movies the other night and got out at 11:30pm. The sky still had a bit of blue in it. People come over to the house to visit, fills like 4pm but it is 8 or 9 o’clock.

We went to the Mountains ...

After that I will have three more weeks in Philippines and then back to Thailand ...

We were watching the clock because the Bomber Command Museum at Nanton was a long planned stop on the way south. Mobile Internet is great because we could confirm it was open until 5pm – which was going to allow us an hour. We used most of that time, looking at various exhibits and reading the boards. The memorial outside was moving, with over 10,000 Canadian names listed who had died while serving in Bomber Command.

Day 6 was another relaxing day in Lethbridge, spent mostly at the house and doing a bit of shopping for the rest of the trip (when we finally leave Canada). One note about lovely Lethbridge is how damn windy it is. We've had similar winds for an hour or two in Ottawa when a crazy storm is rolling in, ...
