    What a day. 2 hours drive around all the twists and bends on often scarily narrow roads. Poor Lindy was driving so she was over it by the time we arrived at Gouffre de Padirac. There's nothing much there except these amazing old caves discovered by Alfred Edward Martel in 1889.     ... Hugh & Anieta took us out for the most amazing lunch we've had since Le Comptoir in Paris. La Recreation is set on the outskirts of a quaint village not far from here with a shaded courtyard and fabulous food. Some examples of our fare can be seen in the pics.
