      ... 2 May 1944 for their role in the Resistance. There is a monument to the three beside the town church. We have also been telling them the story of Nancy Wake 'the white mouse' a young Australian woman (born in New Zealand) who was the most highly decorated female of WW 2 and a driving force in the Resistance.
