... stupid mistake of wearing my fabulous high heels, and was stumbing around Taipei in pain. Thank goodness the Eslite bookstore doubles as a shopping center and opened at 10. My feet weren't going to last much longer. On the second floor of the bookstore, we found a cute little open floored boutique where we found some fabulous flats and flipflops and dropped more money than I should have on shoes. Oh well, c'est la vie!

... We blitzed around camera row and replaced some more little items that had been stolen in Thailand. We then walked past the Presidential Office Building and went into the Botanical Garden. It was great to see a bunch of school children out on a field trip.

... minutes later, with my mum following him. Thank goodness! That wasn't the first time in this trip that she had gotten separated from the rest of us.

Mum went to buy a lot of tea, and so many pineapple cakes. I would take a photo, but we're packing and tidying up our suitcases at the moment, in preparation for tomorrow.
