... and so decided to share a big bowl of goulash soup. It was really good with big chunks of beef and vegetables in a rich broth. It really hit the spot.

We had to get on the road even though we could have lingered much longer. The drive to the condo was about 2 hours by car. It is located at Gemunder Ferienpark in the town of Gemund. ... as anti-tank barricades that were erected by the German Wehrmacht. After about 2 hours we found Monschau nestled at the top end of the Eifel ranges and walked through the narrow cobbled streets enjoying the architecture from the 11th century.

... risk it. Thus she got my yummy soup and i got her ceaser salad.

After lunch we went and drank some more beer. Next was another dark beer, this also came with cheese flavored by feeding the cows the discarded wheat, malt and hops. It was great.

The next beer we got was a blond. This was nice but not as flavorsome as dark beers.

Once we had this beer we were basically ready to head back.

We caught the taxi ...

Left for belgium this morning. Just entered the french speaking country and I read about some caves in liege, belgium that I will try to find. And then onto brussels.. an intereting thing in europe is all the public bathrooms cost money to use... here are some pictures of the roads. The sign that looks like a ghost busters sign means theres no speed ...

On Sunday, we embarked on our journey from Kaiserslautern, Germany to Brugge, Belgium. We had a scheduled FIVE trains to get us to our destination. After misinterpreting our first itinerary and missing the very first train, we were able to catch another train to get us back on track towards Brugge.
