This morning we did the Rick Steves walking tour of Colmar. It is such a charming place. There is a fantastic and huge market place with fresh meats, fish, cheeses, sweets, and other "produits de Alsace". We enjoyed it. Oh what a day! We left our hotel in Strasbourg early and rolled our luggage to breakfast and then to the car rental office by the train station. I don't know how French people are thin since they only eat bread, croissants, butter, jam, more toast, OJ, and coffee. Where is the protein?? A cool day with on and off drizzle. Time to move on from the Meuse and
head towards the Vosges and the National Parks of Alsace Lorraine, north of
