A bit of an out-of-the-way place but a bar within walking distance, a feature one of us likes very much. Our gas bottle ran out today having lasted all of 14 days. This has decided us to stay in France ...
Ok so I am officially the worst blogger ever! Sorry I haven't kept up with this! At least when I get back all my stories will be brand new and no one will have ever heard them! Well today I get my test results back from my last exam. Then tomorrow is the last day of classes! Me and a few other students from CMU are going to go get a HUGE ice cream sundae to celebrate the end of classes! Then on Thursday I will leave for Lyon, France ...

Our week riding in the Alps was amazing. It really ...
I always wanted to see a stage in The Tour the France. A couple of years ago they had a Stage ending in Ghent. A few km. from my home. But What do you see? In a few seconds a peloton passes and that's it. So I decided to combine two loves at once. My ...

... public parklands that were fully manicured, but the one we stopped at for lunch was managed as a wild park. I don't know the technical term for this, but I think the idea is to allow some longer shrub and grass growth in particular seasons. This allows sites for birds to do, whatever they do in the long grass, and I guess also to allow wild native annual plants to flower and ...

Back at La Saliere, our hosts Chrystelle and Eric, were putting on a table d’hote this evening. This is an evening meal including the family, for ourselves and 2 other couples staying at the accommodation. It was a good meal and they both go to considerable effort to make the evening asuccess. Unfortunately, tonight, the young daughter fell off her chair and cut her eyebrow from the nasty fall. This was ...
... road from Christine's which has a ping pong table in it. As the licence is until 3am every so often and when the door is opened for someone to go in or come out the owner says "Shhhhhhh" and the crowd quietens down. The later it got and the more we had to drink, the easier it got for me to speak French and Christine's friends to speak English.
Lyon, France jaycogan... w**e people working on some project in town. Th**e was no choice of menu in the hotel restaurant and we ate the standard meal provided to the work**s.
