    What a day ! We drove 90mins to Lac Aiguebelette and had a wonderful day. By chance we were able to wander into the athletes area and cruised around all their tents. Just like a Sunday picnic, except, stationery bikes, kids paddling pools and rowing boats everywhere. We tracked down the Kiwi's and quickly took a photo and moved on. We watched the activity on the athlete's screen, went and saw the boats being weighed and really felt part of the action. ...

    Did this three times, just for fun.
    No luggage but rain on the first two runs over.
    The last time was as I headed to france, via Italy.
    Because it was sunny I got to see some of the mountains on the last run, just got wet and saw clouds the first day.

    ... There was also muesli and the cereal bowls were laid out for us, alongside the glass for fruit juices or water. We couldn't see any tea cups, so proceeded on the muesli, when the lady owner came in with the pot of tea and informed us were using the tea cups for our muesli! These cups had no handles and were like big bowls! So we drank our tea in the real cereal bowls, half the size of the others! Apparently her grandmother served tea this way!
