Labergement. A very Swiss looking town in heart of The Alps. Close to the Swiss boarder and Mont D'Or. Aire. 10 bay parking lot next to very high tech Sports facilities and community centre. With vast lakes for a playground. Funny sort of new town with the most fantastic sports facilities next to Lac de Remoray Boujeons. This would have been a great little place for a family stopover in ...
A cold late start but stunning beautiful clear weather, for
about half an hour, and then the clouds came in. However it wasn’t raining so
outside with us. Still feeling a little piqued from the previous days exertions
we set off on a short walk to observe the Le Saut-Du- Doubs waterfall. Very
pretty it was too. The lake nearby had a lot of small fish in it.
After a slow walk back the rest of the day was spent on housework

Caron has the willies ascending so high up over the city, but she sticks with it and is able to walk the whole perimeter of the tower with some trepidation but is in a rush to get back down.

... brisk walk along the lake side woke us up! Impressive to see kite surfers out so early in the year.
On the return trip we did a quick side trip to Romainmotier, a very cute ancient town with a old cloister in it. The sun was setting and it was a truly beautiful reminder to the past, the stunning diversity and beauty of this country. The pictures can tell more than I can :)
