... and the entire residence as a whole has two study rooms, a communal kitchen/common room in the basement, a laundry room, and some offices where the staff work. My roommate's name is Edwina: she's from NYC, NY, goes to BU, and is focusing on IR, like me.

Oops, no notes again! Refuge Elena quite new and modern. Large dorms but partitioned into bunks of 4. Located on a high ridge overlooking the valley, where we had a long break and arvo tea. Met some interesting groups of Italians, see the funny hats. It seems that all of Italy has these 2 weeks off, so the trails and refuges are full. Dinner in a lovely dining room, food pasta as usual. ...

Eventually I find the signs to the track to the lookout, and realize that I am out here alone, in the middle of nowhere, with no phone, and no ther tourists and there is this amazing steep unfenced drop at my feet over looking the Rohne Valley. awesome, scary, but awesome view.

A lay down in rolling green grassy meadows with wildflowers and warm sun. perfect. except this worm in my ...
