We travelled from Chamonix to Annecy, which is a very pretty holiday destination, with lots of holiday makers swimming, boating, playing in the park & shopping. The parks we have seen are beautifully kept this one had several small vegetable gardens & lots of large pots of flowering plants. We arrived driving around a large lake (it is about 40kms) through an avenue ...

Buy a new camera, bring the old one back, show receipts and they'll sort it all out. They will confirm it all overnight but that's great customer service Also a slight hiccup in the plan ...

... s largest tourist attraction but I was disappointed. Instead of restoring the fort as a historical site they have decided to *******ise the place into an art gallery, restaurant, kid's play area and climbing gym. What could have been a really impressive historical landmark is now sadly a Gallic version of Kryall Castle, albeit with a flash cable car access.

The World Cup final is on tonight so Sue and I found a good table, in ...
