    I write this entry from our little room in the mountains by the Gorges De Verdun, sitting by the open window and being serenaded by crickets. It is dark and peaceful, with no noises around other than the sounds of nature. So different than our room last night--which was just inches from the train tracks that carried the speeding cars by and sounded as if they were in our room!

    ... charismatic café’s, boutiques and galleries. We picked the perfect day to arrive as almost every piece of road was now a market stall of crafts and produce.
