... lost in, not a good idea with no water on board we thought.
We then went into the town. the main St Antoine market was colourful ,with everything in the Antilles in the way of fruit, vegetables and spices and their homemade Rhum concoctions! ... and smelly. 13th.... the mood changed and it was a long dark and stormy night, rain lashing down and ominous black clouds making pictures in the sky, like out of a Spielberg movie and just us in it! followed by not much wind and sun the next day.Got my favorite(not) Jennaker out and just enough wind to fly it, then we passed the 40 degree W line and had fun conversations working out the time lines and the the actual time, something we did 4 ...

Up early again and we reef the sail and head out for Guadeloupe. At first sight sea and winds don't look too bad but a glance behind us shows the Island in blackness as storm creeps up. 10 mins later we are soaked and it's just like sailing in the Solent apart from it's not cold.
