... hour lunch stop beside the River Somme then onto the 130km/hr motorway to our hotel at Gonesse near CDG airport north of Paris. A large part of the journey the fields were dotted with wind generators. A fill up with diesel fuel not far from our Gonesse Hotel €39 for half tank, and we arrived at 4 pm for a re-pack for our flight, note Fay Repack #5, to ensure all stuff is in checked ...

A travel blog entry by kvstark on Apr 12, 2014

... br> Last thing of note - everyone knows that I'm American (or at least not from Europe) when walking the streets because I always let cars go. Europeans just walk fearlessly into the streets expecting the cars to stop in the middle of their turn and back up traffic so the pedestrian can cross. I always wait for the car to go and this causes confusion, because they're waiting for me and I'm waiting for them. It works out eventually though.
