... Heidi had roast Sea Bass and I had Turbot with a medley of shellfish. Both excellent and the chef/owner came round to chat with everyone, we were made to feel very comfortable and at home, no stuffiness here. This was a very relaxing day and conveniently got us much closer to Saint Malo, our next and last destination before the crossing back to England.
The pens are an awe inspiring place, which still reck of history and emotion. A must see on any trip to the North West Atlantic coast of France.

Hurray! Sunny today. Decided to cycle to Le Gois this morning ready for low tide at 9:53 to see what it was like. On the way, we saw two otters ahead of us playing on the cycle path. As we neared the causeway, we could see cars parked at the side and probably about a hundred people raking like mad on the sand. We guessed they were looking for cockles or oysters.

We decided to go north to do the bike tracks we missed out the other day, calling in to the market at La Gueriniere on the way.
