    Lunch with an old friend

A travel blog entry by daniel.swiss on Jun 10, 2015

Today I had lunch with an old friend of mine, one of the last people I still know at my first employer. We remembered the "good old days", and we caught up with the kid's stories. I realized that his youngest is now 15; the last time I saw him, he was ...

... square with some booths set up selling food. All the produce looked absolutely amazing. There was also some cheese and meat. It's interesting I've noticed here and in Geneva you see mostly white asparagus. I've seen some green but not often. I wonder why that is? ... a planetarium type set-up. After we sent some time inside, we walked around the grounds of the Globe. The day was nicer than before so we soaked up the little bit of sun that we could.
We then crossed the street and went into the second exhibit for the collider. This one wasn't as interesting, as it was more of a children's museum type set-up with lots of hands on exhibits. Needless to say, Logan and I did partake in plenty of the exhibits, in ...

    Geneva, Genova!

We were up early, fully packaged and pumped to meet our good friends in Geneva. I had some podcasts downloaded, so the train ride would go by in no time...so, we thought. I saw the sign for our stop fly by in the train window and notified Emile that we had arrived. His response "But we're still on the coast"....one long stare at each other and we figured it out. We were in the wrong city. I take full responsibility because I purchased ...
