    ... consulate and I had walked all the way to the 'Bohemian' area of Geneva which was actually clean and nice and totally closed.

    We found a fabulous restaurent in the old city just around the corner from the Cathedral of St James and had coffee and beer. Fabulous area quiet and full of gracious architecture hardly any tourists maybe they were all buying watches!!!
