... the international work atmosphere was great. Following our great tour we went to Vevey, a beautiful indescribable city. We got a short break for lunch here. A few of the peers and I walked around found a restaurant and headed in with 20 minutes until we had to be back on the bus.     At this restruant we got VIP treatment, even tough it was completely packed. ... it appears that the back-up battery that we fully charged in Paris is dead. So, both batteries are dead.

At 11:30 or so, we hit traffic that was at a complete stand still. Traffic was backed up for 30 minutes just because of a stalled semi in the middle lane of a 3 lane highway. By this time there was a light rain to go along with the 7 C temperature. I was sleepy, so I went to sleep.

... 15 minutes for this part of the evening, which was pretty ridiculous, considering that there were 51 countries to represent. Granted, they don't play the entire national anthem for all of the countries- for some they just play the beginning and then stop if no one is singing it or the kid from that country has already left.
