... way but mostly by the road. This wasn't a problem as there were not many cars around. The river is from a large lake formed by a hydro dam that supplies the majority of the countries water. We wandered into the Outdoor Art Gallery at Lultzehausen, which is six large carved stone sculptures, each unique, set in the woods and fields.

Matty hung with his dad for the day... and loved it.

Well our holiday in Europe is coming to an end. We left Arnhem and crossed into Belgium. Our destination Bastogne. There is where the Battle of the Bulge took pace in December, January 1944.  The Town was occupied by the Germans but was taken back by the Americans in April 1944. Hitler wanted to recapture the town to enable them to reach the Belgium coast. The Germans recaptured the town and from December through to January a fierce ...

... t make me all too keen to wild camp. With help from mom, we located another campsite. The problem was that if was 35 km away, and with the morning having been so slow, I doubted we'd make it in the 2 hours we had before dark.
But some how me made it. Fueled by fried food, we did 35km in1.5 hours. No clue how.
Tomorrow is another day.its raining now, but it should clear. Hold ...

Tonight is football night. Belgium has the best team they’ve had in the last 30 years, so it’s big business at the moment. They are currently in playoffs for the European League. A friend of theirs joins us for aperols, beers and dinner for the evening.
