... an event there the previous night so there were crews taking things down, but it was still a very awe inspiring memorial. And with the white snow covering it all around, it just made it so much more special. There is something about white snow that just seems right in a place like this. I was very moved and had to force myself to get to the museum to make sure I had enough time for the rest of my day.

So why is Bastogne and the Battle of the Bulge so relevant? The war would have been won by the Allies regardless. With severe pressure from the Russians from the Eastern Front and the Allies coming in from the West and South, the Germans were doomed. However, had the Germans punched a hole in the Allied lines, most notably the Battle of the Bulge, it could have prolonged the war much longer. The success ...

... dummy spit, and refuses to acknowledge where you are or provide any information at all. Nothing. Just the car on a gray screen, not even identifying that you are on a road. No help as to how to get back on track either, total sulk. On a more amusing note, She does say to "keep driving on this road for a long time"! We worked out that this is a distance more than 10 km.
