... an Ammonite and cool rocks from one stall then we headed home for some lunch. In the afternoon we went for a great bike ride through the countryside and explored some forest on foot (which ended up in a large broccoli field!) When we got back we played and intense game of Scrabble and then relaxed in the spa soaking up the view down the valley. Emily has some home made potato and leek soup on the stove which we will have with some fresh baguette for dinner, just ...

... headed to a town called Albi to a restaurant we had read great reviews for. Sort of a Birthday Lunch for Hazza. The food was very artistic and tasty and we mentioned it was Harry's birthday and when dessert time came around they came and sand happy birthday to him. We left here and travelled to a castle about 1/2hr away called Chateau de Penne. ...

... ll stay another night, so that we can try to get a water filter in Beziers. No joy at the two truma agents. They don't use the kind of water filling systems in France, they just bung a hose pipe into a hole in the side. I will have to order from Amazon and get them sent. What is really sad is that loads of Plane trees are being cut down along the canal du midi. Apparently they have a disease and will be replanted, but cruising along the canal will now be in bright ...

... place we should have gone without having a proper lunch first but it was SO so good even though we felt quite ill afterwards.

After that we had to lie down so we went and found another park (not hard to see why they call it the green city) and just lay in the sun for the next hour and read our books. Not much more was done that day other than a bit more walking, more gardens and a drink here or there. We found a little cheapish place for dinner and ended up having a nice meal ...
