Biarritz & Bayonne

Cycled in to Biarritz the next day to explore the town. Small cove with some very expensive houses and an aquarium perched right on the edge of the bay.
Surfers can be seen along the bay, watched by the shoppers in town. Large waves can be seen hitting the sides of the road and reaching some 100m up in the air.
Spent the next few days here surfing.

Day 30 - Baggage in beautiful Biarritz
... had done our best and any excess weight would have to be taken with a "c'est la vie" attitude - how appropriate given that we are in France!

Day 29 - A mission in Biarritz
... that I had been eyeing up for a while and everything is really cheap here due to the exchange rate at the moment.....ummm *insert more justification here*!?
We spent so much time in there (possibly hours) that we missed our opportunity to go to the big indoor market, which won't be open tomorrow with it being Sunday. Not being right into my food at the moment I can't say I'm fussed!
Casting our minds back nearly a week to our check-in mini-drama ...
