... we had a great coastal walk, in search of la Vierge sur le rocher. We stopped at a café for hot drinks and directions. In addition to the directions, the owners offered us crêpes to share-we got to try their caramel, sugar, nutella and chocolate crêpes. Sweet! :) We had dinner on the way back to the hotel. We're doing great, and creating new friendships with our travel companions, a group from St. Louis, Missouri, and one from Colorado. Good ...

As we arrived soon after 12 we thought lunch was in order so finding a restaurant overlooking the beach it was time for some Moules and frites (mussels and chips). Ei had mussels with a Roquefort sauce and I elected for the curried Moules followed by two scoops of ice cream for Ei and the Basque gateaux for moi, very nice.
