... dropping off their students, practically at the front door. At Stevenson one risks her life attempting to cross the parking lot with impatient parents and hurried students. Here I see kids perhaps as young as ten board the bus and navigate their way around the city. Sometimes they are in groups, sometimes alone. Public transportation requires a bit of walking as well, thus I would guess each student walks at least a mile each day, possibly each way. I have ...
