We decided to explore our new surroundings and ended up at the beach. My toes were greeted by fairly cold water - I won't be swimming in it this week. A man lead his camel along the beach, hoping to relieve tourists of a few dinars - however we didn't take photos of his furry friend. There are no wild camels in Tunisia, they are all owned by someone.

... it, instead we took a touristic train which went around the city for an hour. To be honest, i wouldn't say the city is beautiful, the city is almost made by many high class hotels with high walls eracted around it and inside it is like a paradise with swimming pools, restaurants and troupical trees facing the beach.. So unless you are rich enough to rent a place in those hotel, then Hammamet would suddenly become a heaven to you. ...

... etc etc etc etc. Purely Tunisian people prior to tourists arrival local families on there way to work/school. The fish photos were surreal in the sense that i helped them unload and push to local market.
I go back/side streets off the beaten track sometimes scary but needless to say it adds to the photos! The ones with the cuddly lambs in i hated because after i took them, they were slaughtered, obviously i didn't ...

Josefina, Dad, Joss and I on a four night jaunt to Tunisia. Josefina had already been there, but she was kind enough to go again, as it is somewhere I had wanted to go since 2000, where I had to cancel my planned holiday. That was going to be 7 days in a hotel, by the pool and beach. My idea of a holiday has changed since then, and this was to be much more tiring!
